TechoClip (“we,” “us,” or “our”) respects the intellectual property rights of others and expects our users to do the same. In accordance with the Digital Millennium Copyright Act of 1998 (“DMCA”), we will respond expeditiously to claims of copyright infringement that are reported to our Designated Copyright Agent identified below. This policy describes how to submit a notice of claimed infringement, how to file a counter-notification, and how we treat repeat infringers.
We comply with the DMCA even though TechoClip is operated from India, because our advertising and hosting partners and a portion of our audience are based in the United States. We also honor analogous copyright frameworks in other jurisdictions where applicable.
Reporting Copyright Infringement
If you believe that content on our website infringes your copyright, please notify our Designated Copyright Agent in writing with the following information. A complete and accurate notice helps us act quickly:
- Identification of the copyrighted work you claim has been infringed, or, if multiple works are covered by a single notification, a representative list of such works.
- Identification of the infringing material, including the specific URL(s) on our Site where the material is located, described with enough detail for us to find it.
- Your contact information: name, mailing address, telephone number, and email address.
- A statement of good faith that the use of the material in the manner complained of is not authorized by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law.
- A statement of accuracy, made under penalty of perjury, that the information in your notice is accurate and that you are the copyright owner or are authorized to act on behalf of the owner.
- Your signature (physical or electronic) as the copyright owner or a person authorized to act on their behalf.
Please note that under Section 512(f) of the DMCA, any person who knowingly materially misrepresents that material is infringing may be liable for damages, including costs and attorneys’ fees. If you are unsure whether material is protected by copyright or whether your use is permitted, you may wish to seek legal advice before submitting a notice.
Where to Send DMCA Notices

To avoid delays, please submit your notice in English and include all of the elements listed above. Incomplete notices may not be actionable and may be returned to you for clarification.
Our Process After Receiving a Notice
Once we receive a valid notice of claimed infringement, we will review it, and where appropriate, remove or disable access to the material in question. We will make a reasonable effort to notify the user who posted the affected content so that they may submit a counter-notification if they believe the removal was a mistake. We may also document the notice as part of our repeat-infringer records.
Counter-Notification
If you believe material was removed or disabled in error or as a result of misidentification, you may send a counter-notification to our Designated Copyright Agent containing the following:
- Your physical or electronic signature.
- Identification of the material that was removed or disabled and the location at which it appeared before removal.
- A statement, under penalty of perjury, that you have a good-faith belief that the material was removed or disabled as a result of mistake or misidentification.
- Your name, mailing address, and telephone number.
- A statement that you consent to the jurisdiction of the appropriate court and that you will accept service of process from the party who filed the original notice, or their agent.
If we receive a valid counter-notification, we may restore the removed material in a reasonable period of time unless the original complainant files a court action seeking to restrain the allegedly infringing activity.
Repeat Infringers
We have adopted and reasonably implement a policy of terminating, in appropriate circumstances, the accounts or access privileges of users who are determined to be repeat infringers. We may also limit access to the Site for any user who repeatedly submits content that infringes the intellectual property rights of others.
Trademark and Other Intellectual Property Concerns
While this policy focuses on copyright, we also respect trademarks and other intellectual property rights. If you have a concern that is not strictly a copyright matter—such as trademark misuse—please contact us using the details above with a clear description of your concern and the rights you hold.
Response Time
We aim to acknowledge all DMCA takedown requests within 48 business hours of receipt and to remove or disable verified infringing material within 3-5 business days. Complex cases, or notices that require clarification, may take longer to resolve.
